![]() For my abstract images, I never reuse the same color so each drawing may contain up to 1000 different colors. My medium is markers on archival paperstock or cardstock ranging from 9" x 12" up to 18" x 24" and some larger. ![]() I’m creating a sensation of life through inorganic abstract shapes. ![]() So through my detailed marker drawings, I am representing this endless energy and the unity of animate and inanimate objects-at a subatomic level, it is all one. ![]() There is no surface or area of space that is not filled with energy and movement quantum particles pop in and out of existence even in deepest space. I seek through my art to represent the life and movement that makes up the entire universe. As an actor, he performed in diverse plays and improv teams throughout the Chicago area. David has a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has received numerous awards and acclaim for his fiction including a gold medal as “Outstanding Book of the Year” in the Independent Publisher Book for his second novel A Greater Monster. He studied at The School of Representational Art and the Lillstreet Art Center. As an artist, his work has been accepted into multiple gallery shows including twice appearing in the Surreal Salon annual show at the Baton Rouge Gallery – Center for Contemporary Art. ![]() David David Katzman has been an artist, writer, and an actor throughout his life. ![]()
